Telstra Inter City Fibre Network

Over the last 2 years SIS Group have been providing key roles in delivery of two of largest fibre optical projects in Australia for over 25 years. The Telstra InfraCo new Inter City Fibre Network ( ICF) which is a 14,000km of high-capacity, ultra-low-latency fibre across Australia – connecting major capital cities from north to south and east to west, and creating access points to connect regional and remote areas, across some of the harshest working environments in the country including crossing the Nullarbor Plain which is the worlds largest single exposure of limestone bedrock, making it particularly challenging for installation of 2 x new fibre optical cables at 1.2m deep.
